Scope Of Support

Our Scope Of Support

We provide support for a specific set of technologies and platforms. Most of our support for specific operating systems is aligned with their respective lifecycle.

Any technology or platform not specifically listed here is either unsupported, or will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, if support is requested.

Further detailed information in the bottom section titled "Limit Of Support"

Operating Systems

Computers: Microsoft Windows 10, 11 and later, Ubuntu 22.04 and later, Fedora (rolling-release), Debian 11 and later.

Servers: Windows Server 2016 and later, Ubuntu 22.04 and later, Debian 11 and later, RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 and 8.

Tablets and smart phones: Android 12 and later.

Cloud

The only cloud platform currently supported by us is Microsoft Azure. We do not offer support for most third-party plugins available in Azure Marketplace, only features that are enabled or available on vanilla Azure setups - if you have such plugins enabled, we can still support your other configurations, but will not offer support beyond best-effort if specific plugins are causing issues within your Azure environment. Exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and will be limited to "Best Effort" only.

See the below section relating to Azure for the specific commonly used elements in Azure that are supported and for which we possess extensive experience.

Hardware

This section is only relevant for the services we offer that relate to data recovery.

We support many hardware manufacturers, for many media types, including but not limited to Lenovo, IBM, DELL, HP, Intel, Western Digital, Seagate, Sandisk, Corsair and more.

We can offer support for systems that do not or no longer have a valid license with their manufacturer (for example, DELL, for Equalogic SANs) however, providing you are no longer covered by a manufacturer's warranty, any cost relating to media replacements with original / OEM will not be covered by us in any event and you will need to communicate with the manufacturer to obtain a replacement, or if your system supports it, you may order non-OEM media, if the need arises - such as in disk or array failures.

Supported Disk technologies: HDD, SSD, Flash/USB.

In the scope of data recovery, we do not support Fibre Channel or iSCSI drives. However, these types of media are indeed supported in the scope of virtualization or backup storage.

Limit Of Support

We do not officially support any operating system that has reached its End-Of-Life, such support will either be declined or will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and limited to "Best Effort" only.

We do not offer support for operating systems and/or software that do not or no longer have a valid license. This does not include open source software that do not need a license to properly run.

We do not offer support for software that uses cracked licenses. Exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but most often than not, this type of support will be declined.
